In 2015, the ‘Casal Català’ of NSW, based in the city of Sydney, held a logo design competition to choose their logo. This competition was won by this studio and I am pleased to say that I am the intellectual author of the image of this collective.
En 2015, el ‘Casal Català’ de NSW, con sede en la ciudad de Sídney, convocó un concurso de diseño de logotipos para elegir el suyo. Dicho concurso fue ganado por este estudio y me complace decir que soy el autor intelectual de la imagen de este colectivo.
The logo is inspired by the well-known Sydney Opera House by Danish architect Jørn Utzon. This building was declared a World Heritage Site in 2007 and is the iconic image of the city. From its more than recognisable profile come the outlines of the logo, which receives its main colour from the colour of the four stripes of the Catalan flag.
El logotipo está inspirado en la conocida Ópera de Sídney, obra del arquitecto danés Jørn Utzon. Este edificio fue declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad en 2007 y es la imagen icónica de la ciudad. De su más que reconocible perfil surgen los contornos del logotipo, que recibe su color principal del color de las cuatro franjas de la bandera catalana.
